Phishing

Be careful! A wave of phishing attacks is currently taking place. Internet criminals are attempting to obtain information from Hello bank! users in order to steal from them.
Beware of phishing! Never share your bank card PIN, your secure telephone access for Phone banking or the M1 and M2 codes on your card reader by phone or e-mail!

These attacks often happen as follows:

  • You receive a fraudulent phishing e-mail that seems to be sent by Hello bank!, but in fact is not.

  • The sender asks you for fictitious security reasons to click on a link that leads to an authentic-looking – but fake – Hello bank! web page.

  • The sender asks you to provide confidential information urgently.

  • In the second phase, you will be contacted by phone.

  • The caller will try to persuade you to create an electronic signature with your card reader, or to find out your PIN for your bank card or Phone banking.

What should you do if this happens?

  • NEVER click on any links in these kinds of e-mails.

  • NEVER share an electronic signature ('RESPONSE') created using your card reader by phone, e-mail or text message.

  • Send an e-mail with the suspicious e-mail attached to phishing@bnpparibasfortis.com. We will take the necessary action right away.
